Golden paw award

Honored to receive the Golden Paw Award from Animal Rescue Rhode Island. I sponsored legislation in 2020 which limited the outdated and unnecessary use of animals for medical training where other methods are available.

Humane Heroes Award

The Humane Heroes Award in Rhode Island is primarily presented by Defenders of Animals during their annual Homeless Animals Day Ceremony and Candlelight Vigil to honor local advocates, rescuers, and community leaders protecting animal rights.

Physicians Committee for Responsible medicine

Recognized for my efforts in sponsoring legislation to ban the ongoing, lethal animal use in medical training.
